Church Wynd Alne York

Members of Alne Church welcome all visitors to our friendly church. We have Holy Communion every second Sunday starting at 10.30 am followed by refreshments. On the fourth Sunday each month we have a joint Anglican/Methodist service, which is sometimes a service of Holy Communion and sometimes a Morning Worship. Our Priest-in-Charge is Revd Debbie Coyne and are well supported by local retired clergy.

A full range of services takes place at Christmas and Easter as well as services at harvest time and Remembrance Sunday.

There is a kitchen servery at the church to cater for events taking place and groups that meet there.

We are involved with Alne Primary School which holds a Harvest Service and a Christingle in the church each year. Visits to the church by the pupils take place regularly, with some lessons also taking place there.

Each year the church is involved with Alne Street Fayre (usually the second Sunday in June) and the biennial Open Gardens event. There is also a programme of social events including concerts, flower festivals and talks.

For further information regarding the church check the Alne Village website: Alne Anglican Church - St Mary's (alnevillage.co.uk)
